Cheers mate! Thanks for watching :)
Do i have to set the grind setting each time I use it?
Assembling wasn't in the focus 😢sadly
How to use it?? Missed to show ?)
How to use it?))
‘Quite accurate’….yeah, that’s what I want from my scales: approximations.
I have Timemore c3, should I upgrade to Comandante c40 or not??
If you can afford it then it ill be a game changer for your coffee game, Comandante is significantly better than the Timemore c3 grinders :)
@@TheBasicBarista I won't be able to buy it straight away, but I’ll be definitely saving some money to buy myself a Comandante. Thanks for the reply.

One of my favorite ways to brew coffee alongside the French Press!
Hells Yea!!!
Super helpful, love your work as always mate!
Ayeee, Thanks for watching homie
One thing to point out is that I've had the Origami with the plastic base now for just over 2 years and the base has now cracks in the middle on both sides. So I went and bought the wooden base an although it's a little bit hassle to keep the dripper level I think it might last longer.
That sucks! We sell all the origami branded rings and have never had any issues with our customers. I was hesitant to stock the wood ring for this exact reason but now have it as an option, interested to hear how you go after using the wooden base! Keep me updates :)
@@TheBasicBarista No problem. I just kneel down look straight at the dripper and set it in place. Then when I swirl I just grab the base and it won't move. I love this dripper as you can play around a bit more with the grinds than with the standard V60 and when you have such a great grinder like the Comandante C40 then going finer specially with light roasted coffee is good.
What is the point of doing this?😊
Delicious coffee :)
Waste of ingredients
haha I still drank it ;)
moka pot or aeropress fir amaricano coffee taste
that pick cup will make Everything taste good
Literally! We sell tons of these ;) Thanks for watching!
If you heard the two click, technically that’s click two not one click.
I see others have asked this question and haven’t gotten an answer yet- could you share the brand of your scale? It’s very nice.
Absolutely! Sorry we missed this! These are the Timemore Black Mirror Scales thebasicbarista.com/collections/timemore
First time seeing someone do the inverted method on a prismo 😅
hahahaha
nice flowww
thx for watching!
This Fellow works to cream milk?
Hahaha It's not designed for milk but you could definitely make it work as a milk pitcher.
I'd defnitly go for the Timemore. I travel with one of them by bicyle so it's rough and it holds up perfect. The results are absolute repeatable. It's fast, well made and for what it is worth the money.
How much clicks should I do for moka pot?
10-17 clicks! We made a full Timemore C3 grind size chart that you may find useful: thebasicbarista.com/blogs/topics/timemore-c3-grind-size-chart
Starbucks the worse coffee
I've definitely had worse coffees than Starbucks
I think that I've worked too much with coffe, because the fact that he didn't even try to clear his milk and only destroyed it by tapping the pitcher truly made me dead inside
HAHAHA I feel that too 😭
Comandante C60 vs Kinu M47 classic. Which gives better overall taste? (Espresso and filter coffee)
Might have to grab a Kinu Grinder for our next video ;)
*looking at phone* *hears his name* *shocked how much faster it was than usual.*
HAHAHA fr
I dont get it. Good video?😅
Hes used to always having to do high volume of customers. Now that he’s moved to a local coffee shop it’s nowhere near as busy but he’s still working very fast.
haha thanks
Thanks for clearing this up to our non-hospo workers :)
Take 5 is the best song 😎. Great looking beans!
haha cheers
Thanks so much for taking the time to demonstrate and review these. Even three years later, they are not very popular so you are one of the only folks that took the time to upload a video. I do have one question, what is the maximum amount of ground coffee that you have had success with? In the video you use 16g. Have you tried any larger quantities? Thanks again!
Hey, thanks for watching! I am so glad you found this to be valuable. I have tried larger quantities but the issue isn't so much the amount of coffee you can fit, but how much space there is for water as well. Best to stick to around 15g of water as you are able to pour the entire 250g of water in 5 or so pours. I hope this helps answer your question :)

What?
How does it taste. I'm really curious about the taste of poured over coffee.
Pour over coffee tastes very different depending on the beans and brewing style, but if I was to describe pour over coffee to someone who never has tasted it before. Generally, pour over coffee is light, and often described as tea-like. A well brewed pour over coffee has a balance of sweetness, acidity, body (texture of coffee) and flavours. The recipe in this video is for iced pour over coffee and still maintains most of these flavours and characteristics but is super refreshing. I hope this helps answer your question and I hope that you can taste these coffees one day :)
@@TheBasicBarista thank you for the beautiful explaination.
What under $200 hand grinder that you recommend for filter and espresso brewing methods?
Timemore C3 or KinGrinder K6. Check out our range of coffee grinders here: thebasicbarista.com/collections/coffee-grinders

Hi which tamper is this ?
Hey! This tamper was actually given to us by MHW Bomber. Check out our range of coffee tampers here: thebasicbarista.com/collections/coffee-tampers
@@TheBasicBarista ok thanks. Is it 53 or 53.3mm ?
Brushing does nothing but get the loose particles out. You need to wash it, that will remove the oils that have adhered to the surfaces. That oil will turn rancid. Also try to get your work in the frame. It makes for a better presentation.
So many things wrong in this video, definitely not "like a boss". 😅 Well, as long as you enjoy it -all good. 😬
haha we've come a long way since making this video, I agree with you it's all about enjoying the process :)
Nah because my left or your left?😅
Ahhhh
When I poured the first pour the grinded coffee started rising up and became thick and sort of like ballooned. I’m new to this. Can someone give me tips ?
this is called the 'bloom' and is importnant to release all the gasses. Too big of a bloom could be a result of, coffee grounds brewed too soon from roast date, Coffee roasted darker and water temperature too high. I hope this helps!
@@TheBasicBarista thank you! I do believe the water temperature may have been high. What is the ideal temperature for most beans?
Nice video, I have the C2 and going to purchase a Picopresso. Will my C2 get it done?
Thanks for watching! we actually made a couple videos on the Wacaco Pircopresso and Yes, it will be very similar experience to the Aram. as both coffee makers dont use pressurised baskets.
Thank you for reply, I was referring to my C2

Pretty sick hey ;) We stock these mugs, they are called the Origami Sensory Cup: thebasicbarista.com/products/origami-sensory-cup
Nice, did you warm up your milk before?
yes! I did, thanks for watching
how the fuck do you fold them
Hahaha its actually much easier after you have some practice. These do have perforations that guide you where to fold, after you fold it you sort of have to hold it in that shape before putting the filter into the coffee dripper and then setting the filter by adding your hot water. Hope this helps!
@@TheBasicBarista the guides dont help me one bit it never looks right lol
